Terms of Service

01The service

Tenssify lets you record blood pressure, medications, GLP-1 therapy, laboratory results, CPAP nights, weight and body measurements, food and hydration, daily wellness check-ins and optional screening questionnaires; view trends across them; ask Tensi questions about your own data; export reports; and share a time-limited link with a clinician. Every module is optional.

The service is provided free of charge. There is no paid tier, and we do not take payment information.

02Not medical advice, and not a medical device

Tenssify is not a medical device and is not licensed by Health Canada. Everything it shows you — charts, statistics, category labels, adherence figures, questionnaire scores and anything Tensi writes — is for personal journaling and general education only.

It does not diagnose, does not give a prognosis, does not calculate disease risk, and does not tell you to change a medication or a dose. Screening questionnaires such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, SCOFF and AUDIT-C are screening tools, not diagnoses; a score is a reason to talk to a professional, never a conclusion.

Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay that advice because of something you read here.

03Emergencies

Do not use Tenssify in an emergency. It is not monitored, alerts are not guaranteed to be delivered, and nobody is watching your readings. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department.

04Who may use it

You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — the service can only be as reliable as its data, and a mistyped reading produces a wrong average.

05Your account

• Keep your credentials to yourself, and use a unique, strong password or a passkey.

• Turn on two-step verification if you can; it is the single most effective thing you can do here.

• Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access to your account.

• You are responsible for what happens under your account while you control it.

06Recording data about other people

If you add a family member, you confirm that you have the right to record and share that person’s health information — their consent, or your legal authority to act for them. You are responsible for that. We may remove a record if the person it describes asks us to.

07Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for clinical decision-making, triage, or to monitor another person’s condition in place of professional care.

• Do not attempt to breach or probe our security, access another account, or bypass rate limits and quotas.

• Do not scrape the service, resell it, or use it to build a competing dataset.

• Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful or that infringes somebody’s rights.

• Do not misuse Tensi — including attempting to make it produce medical advice it is designed to refuse.

08Tensi

Tensi is optional and consent-gated. It can be wrong: it is a language model reading your data, and it may misread, omit or overstate. Check anything that matters, and never act on it in place of professional advice. We may limit usage, change the underlying models, or withdraw the feature.

09Privacy and health information

How we handle personal and health information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By creating an account you consent to that processing.

10Your content, and who owns what

Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store, process, encrypt, display and export it, and to send it to the processors named in the Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of it and will not use it to train models.

The software, design, brand and name are ours, and nothing in these terms transfers them to you.

11Ending it

You may delete your account at any time from Profile; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other users at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and time to export your data.

12Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is and as-available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and alerts will always arrive — they depend on your device, your browser and networks we do not control. We may add, change or remove features.

13Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tenssify and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service, from reliance on anything it displays or that Tensi generates, or from interruptions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under Ontario consumer protection law or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14Changes to these terms

We will update these terms when something material changes, and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, delete your account.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live.
